We also help employees to understand their rights and entitlements in the workplace and are available to represent individuals in raising grievances and resolving those.

Our Workplace Law Team have particular expertise in workplace law matters as they relate to Māori and tikanga Māori.  We have successfully represented clients before the Employment Relations Authority and the Employment Court in this space, and are regularly asked to speak at national conferences and seminars.  Our team can capably advise businesses on how to ensure their values are applied throughout their workplace.  We have significant experience advocating for employees where tikanga has not been appropriately considered.
