Andrew Hong promoted to Senior Solicitor

The Directors are thrilled to announce that Andrew Hong has been promoted to Senior Solicitor.

Andrew is a crucial member of our Dispute Resolution team. He assists with a wide range of matters, including civil and commercial disputes, property and lease disputes and insurance disputes just to name a few.

Andrew joined the McCaw Lewis whānau as a Law Clerk in July 2020. He came to us from the University of Waikato, Te Piringa – Faculty of Law where he taught as well as coordinated and led the competitions. Andrew was then admitted to the bar in April 2021.

He continues his involvement with Te Piringa including judging, mentoring and preparing students for competitions, which is appreciated by both McCaw Lewis and the University.

Andrew adds real value to our firm and is a trusted 2IC for the wider team. He is known for his quick-witted humour and his energetic laugh can always be heard around the office.
