Happy International Women's Day

To mark International Women’s Day we’d like to congratulate Aliesha Miers-Greene on her promotion to Senior Legal Executive, and welcome Emma Toseland, Carmen Mataira, Amy Bird and Sarah Scrivener to the team.

Aliesha is an important part of the firm’s property practise, working with clients on residential and rural transactions, as well as subdivisions and commercial property. She was promoted to the role of Senior Legal Executive in February.

Emma and Amy have joined the team as Solicitors and are also working in the property space. After completing her law degree at the University of Otago, Emma worked in Wellington as a Tax Consultant before being admitted to the bar in September 2020. Amy also qualified at the University of Otago, going on to work for a firm in Queenstown, gaining experience in subdivision and land development work.

Carmen will be working with our Māori Legal Team as a Law Clerk and is due to be admitted to the bar in June. She is passionate about assisting and enabling Māori and Pacific individuals.

Sarah is a Solicitor in our commercial practise. Having completed her studies at Otago in 2019, she was admitted to the bar in June 2020. Sarah will be working with business clients on a range of commercial matters.
