Launch of '100 - Kotahi Rau - The McCaw Lewis Story 1919-2019'
On Friday, 11 October, the McCaw Lewis whānau launched '100 - Kotahi Rau - The McCaw Lewis Story 1919-2019'. The book celebrates the history of the firm and its people through the last 100 years, and looks to the future as we enter the next 100. The event was attended by current McCaw Lewis staff and former partners, along with the author of the book, Kingsley Field and others who put so much mahi into its creation.
Guests were treated to a panel discussion hosted by former McCaw Lewis partner and Hamilton Mayor, Julie Hardaker. The panel featured some of those people who have played a role in bringing the book together: Kingsley Field (author), Brendan Cullen (McCaw Lewis Board Chair), Margaret Murphy (former practice manager), David M Wilson, Q.C. (former partner) and Professor Margaret Wilson (author of the foreword).
A big thank you to Print House Hamilton NZ for their work printing the book, Carol Oldfield for her design and layout, Anita Pitu Photography for her beautiful snaps of the event, ACLX for the speaker system, and Mish's Delish Graze - Bespoke Grazing Tables + Platter Boxes for the incredible grazing table.
