McCaw Lewis welcomes Te Kūiti firm to the whānau

We are excited to announce the merger of two leading firms McCaw Lewis of Hamilton and Forgeson Law of Te Kūiti under the McCaw Lewis banner.  We will continue to operate across the two offices in Hamilton and Te Kūiti with a combined workforce of over 50 staff.

Our focus will continue to be providing excellent legal service to our clients across the Waikato and Te Rohe Pōtae.  Both firms are excited about the strong alignment of values and look forward to the opportunities that this merger will provide.

For Executive Director, Renika Siciliano, that focus is clear.  “We are passionate about helping people and playing a meaningful role in our clients’ lives, whether it be to assist with new projects or help resolve problems.  To strengthen that service locally is really important to us.”

For Kevin and Dianne Forgeson the goals are “to continue to provide the same excellent service, by the same great team but with access to additional skills and increased capacity.”

McCaw Lewis and Forgeson Law are law firms that have long and honourable histories in their respective regions, both firms supporting their communities for 105 years.  It has been 40 years since McCaw Lewis’s last merger and 25 years since they had a provincial office.  “It is very exciting for two law firms with a long history of delivering excellent client service in their respective regions to be joining forces” says Glenn Forster, Chief Executive of McCaw Lewis

McCaw Lewis offer a comprehensive suite of legal services with a core focus on nine key areas; commercial, property, Māori land, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, dispute resolution, workplace law, environmental/natural resources, family law and asset planning legal services.

Nāu te rourou, nāku te rourou, ka ora ai te iwi.
