Welcome to our new staff

Please join us in welcoming four new faces and one returnee to the McCaw Lewis whānau. We are pleased to introduce Katia Holland, Andrew Hong, Karuna Deobhakta, James Lewis and Huia Harding.

Katia joined our Commercial and Māori Legal Teams in early March as a Senior Solicitor. Katia works with Māori in the commercial sector to facilitate their individual success and to ultimately advance Māori economy in the future.

Andrew is to be admitted to the Bar in the coming months and joined our Dispute Resolution Team in early July. He has most recently been teaching Dispute Resolution and Legal Method papers at Te Piringa – Faculty of Law.

Karuna started as a Solicitor in our Māori Legal Team in March. She's assisting the team on a number of projects on a fixed-term basis until December.

James also joined our Māori Legal Team in March, advising clients in relation to Tiriti o Waitangi issues, Māori land matters and Marine and Coastal Area (Takutai Moana) Act applications.

Huia joined us as a Law Clerk while studying at Te Piringa, and then spent one year with us as a Solicitor. She re-joined the whānau in July and her mahi will focus on Māori Land and Te Taiao/Natural Resources.
