About

Rebecca is a Solicitor in our Asset Planning Team.

Rebecca strives to keep complicated matters as simple as possible for her clients. She enjoys the process of connecting with them on a personal level, taking a hands-on approach to achieve their desired outcomes.

Rebecca graduated from the University of Waikato with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB). She began her career in Asset Planning predominately focussing on Wills, Powers of Attorney, Estates and Trusts. She also has experience working in the Commercial space, which included matters such as commercial business and property transactions, leases, debt recovery and working on a large leasehold subdivision held by a Māori incorporation.

Rebecca grew up on her family’s sheep and beef farm in the Waikato, where she now lives with her husband, their three dogs, and a couple of horses. In her free time, she enjoys Pilates, attending horse shows, tending to her vegetable garden, and getting out on the farm to lend a hand.

Rebecca has been volunteering for Camp Quality since 2015 and has served as the Summer Camp Manager on the Waikato/Bay of Plenty regional committee for the past two years, planning and overseeing a week-long summer camp for children aged 5-16 living with the effects of cancer.

Rebecca joined the McCaw Lewis whānau in 2024.
